02Your account

Keep your login safe, use your own account, and be at least 13.
You must meet the minimum age in your country to create an account. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. One person, one account — multiple accounts to gain an advantage are not allowed.
03Community rules

Be kind, play fair, and don't misuse the platform.
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten or abuse other players.
- Cheat, share answers during live games, or manipulate votes, scores or rankings.
- Impersonate other people, brands or SIDEQUEST staff.
- Post spam, scams, malware or misleading links.
- Interfere with or reverse-engineer the Services.
04Your content

You own what you post. You give us permission to display it on SIDEQUEST.
You keep ownership of comments, polls and other content you submit. You grant SIDEQUEST a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content within the Services. You can delete your content at any time.
05Games, scores and fair play

Scores are computed by our servers. We may correct results affected by bugs or cheating.
Game results are determined by the server-side version of each game. We may void or correct scores, leaderboards or achievements affected by technical errors, cheating or abuse.
06No real-money gaming

SIDEQUEST is free entertainment. There are no cash prizes, bets or wagers.
SIDEQUEST is a free social entertainment platform. Nothing on the Services constitutes gambling, betting or a game of chance for money or prizes of monetary value.
07Advertising and boosts
In plain language
Paid promotions are labeled, reviewed by a person, and never guarantee placement.
Advertisers and creators who purchase promotions agree to our Advertising Policy. All promotions require approval before delivery, are labeled as Sponsored or Boosted, and never guarantee placement, rank, impressions, clicks or conversions. Charges follow the invoice, credit and refund rules of the selected product.
08Our intellectual property

The SIDEQUEST name, logo, games and software belong to us.
Except for your content, the Services and their content — including games, questions, designs and software — are owned by SIDEQUEST or its licensors and protected by law.
09Suspension and termination

You can leave anytime. We may restrict accounts that break the rules — and you can appeal.
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may limit, suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, using proportional measures and offering an appeal where appropriate.
10Disclaimers and liability

We work hard to keep things running, but the Services are provided “as is”.
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and SIDEQUEST is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
11Changes to these terms

If we make important changes, we'll tell you in advance.
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
